Hiya: thanks for getting time of writing up this specifics. I always endeavor to further more my knowledge of items. Irrespective of whether I agree or disagree, I love details. BOUGHT KING CRAFT GENERATOR 6,000 W 13HP.USED VERY LITTLE I ESTIMATE 20 HRS. I START IT UP EVERY 2 MONTHS.NOW ENGINE RUNS GOOD BUT GENERATOR HAS NO ELECTRIC,WONT EVEN RUN A HAND GRINDER.THE VOLTAGE METER READS 100 VOLTS WHEN WIDE OPEN,IT SHOULD READ 240 . ANY SUGESTIONS ??

I have 3250 Watt Generator and I want to know where the oil sump access is.

Also–How-Wehn to change the oil.

Also–Do you have an Owners Manual that I can download.
If so–give me instructions as to where to find it on the interment and how to download it!

Bought a KingCraft 6KW generator from Aldi in Feb 2010 for emergency home power only. Ran it at purchase then three times more for a total of maybe 3 hrs to be sure it had no problems. With the Nov 2011 storm in the N.E. I brought out generator, ran it in two hours time slots for maybe 15 hours over three days until it died. Intake rocker arm cracked. Parts took 4 days from CA. Guarantee is 365 days – period. King Craft like “All Power America” is made in China. Good luck trying to find the company, complaining to a supplier or going through China’s ISO 9000 system to report defects. Only good thing was original price and available parts. If you do not have to bank on a generator this ** MAY ** be an OK deal.

I bought pretty much the same generator (2000w peak/1200w running) at Aldi’s also. Ran it five times and now there is raw gasoline pouring from every hole in the carburetor every time I turn on the stopcock. Engine will run, but great fire hazard with dripping gas. Anyone know what failed?

Have a new Kingcraft 2000/1200 watt generator, lots of vibration and seems to be running faster than needed. Anyone know how to turn down the throttle a little?

turn rhe black plastic phillips adjustment on top of the carb to the rpms you need…

Clean the muffler filter, it is stopped up…

Got an air compressor(a 5.5 gallon from Aldis) for father’s day, first time out of the box, a part that goes from the engine to the tank was completely broke. I called for a new part and the guy for the company had NO idea what he was saying, it took forever to get the part, so I decided to return it and get a refund and now that is taking forever. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THE COMPANY AGAIN!! tHEY ARE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT ASSHOLES!!

We purchased the KingCraft 3250 in late 2009. Didn’t use it until camping 2010 (killed the warranty). It starts and runs fine, but there’s no electricity coming from it. Replaced Reset fuses….still no power. Unable to get any answers by phone–Not recommended to purchase. We’re stuck with a brand new, useless generator.

on friday i picked up a 2000 watt the engine runs fine but after runing for a hour the engine made a lugging sound and then no power engine run no power output, brakers are fine, called customer service
they said to check brushes they look fine could it be the avr, i need this thing fixed any help ?

Kingcraft generator motors are junk.I work on small engines and a neighbor brought me his to check out because it stoped running after one time after 5hrs of use. The valve guid was already worn so bad that it made the rocker arm cock and broke off the top of one valves.It appears that the tinny valve guide should have been of a hardened material and it wasn’t causing it to wear out in such a short time.
